Spain’s association of distributors, self-service stores and supermarkets, Asedas, has launched a campaign to encourage consumers to eat more fruits and vegetables to help alleviate the effects of the Russian ban on agricultural imports from the European Union.
Using the slogan “Take a selfie for our fruits and vegetables”, it asks consumers to upload personal photographs with Spanish-grown produce to social networks.
Asedas’s managing director Ignacio García said the campaign aims to alleviate the impact of the Russian ban on Spanish producers.
