Fruit labelling specialist Sinclair International has announced the appointment of Duncan Jones as its new UK-based marketing manager to drive business development in key markets worldwide.
Jones has 17 years’ experience involving business rationalisation, market planning, marketing and sales strategy, and lead generation, as well as business and brand development. He holds a BA in marketing and has worked in the IT/AV distribution, FMCG, business supplies and services, and facilities management sectors.
Jones will report to Tim Watkins, director of marketing and rest-of-world sales, and will be responsible for driving Sinclair’s marketing and business development strategy in key markets including Europe, Africa, Asia and Asia Pacific.
He will work in concert with Sinclair’s marketing manager for the Americas, Maria Montalvo, in the US to develop the group’s global marketing strategy in new and emerging markets.
Watkins commented: “Duncan brings a broad range of sales and marketing experience, along with a proven track record of marketing and business development, to Sinclair International. He will be an asset to the management team, and the appointment comes at an exciting time for Sinclair International.”
“I look forward to expanding Sinclair International’s already impressive global market share,” Jones said. “I aim to continue to drive global growth and ensure that Sinclair International remains a global leader.”
