Safmarine has been recognised at the first CEVA Logistics' Global Supplier Awards, with the group highlighted for honouring commitments and meeting targets.
The group was handed the Ocean Award at a function hosted by CEVA's chief executive John Pattullo, COO Bruno Sidler and CPO Simon Boggis in Stradella, Italy.
Launched as part of CEVA's quest for excellence, and recognising strong execution and commitment, the Global Supplier Awards rewarded Safmarine's teamwork between companies and the distance they went to meet targets set.
'As a service organisation ourselves, we understand how suppliers can contribute to a company's success and often support effective change,' noted Pattullo. 'We pride ourselves on delivering impeccably to customers and I am delighted to be able to recognise suppliers, such as Safmarine Container Line, who provide the same high service levels to CEVA.'
