Proexport, the fresh produce association for the Spanish region of Murcia, will be out in force at the Fruit Attraction trade show in Madrid, Spain, this week.
Some 30 member companies are planning to participate at this year’s show on 19-21 October, via a 700m2 Proexport pavilion, which will cover 63 per cent of the exhibition space designated for the entire region of Murcia.
The region’s leading fresh fruit and vegetable companies and associations will be present, according to a press release from Proexport.
“Produce companies want to start the 2011/12 campaign with the hope of recouping fruit and vegetable consumption in Europe and promotion will play a fundamental role in achieving this,” explained Proexport chairman Juan Marín Bravo.
Marín added that it is no coincidence Murcia has the second-largest exhibition space of all Spanish regions.
“We have invited our principal clients from all of Europe to see first hand the quality, safety and wide offer of fruits and vegetables that the region of Murcia has to offer,” Marín said.
Proexport member companies exhibiting under the Murcia pavilion include: Agricultores del Sureste (Adesur), Agrar Systems, Agrícola Santa Eulalia, Agrocazalla, Campo de Lorca, Difrusa Export, GH Murciana de Vegetales, Fruca Marketing, Frutas Esther, Grupo Hortiberia, GH Paloma, Hortofrutícola 3 Puentes, Kernel Export, Langmead España, Mercagrisa, Natural&Salads, Gs España Holding, Pozo Sur, Procomel, Sol & Tierra Campo de Cartagena (Soltir), Subasur, Surinver and Verdimed.
SAT Peregrín, Primaflor and Bonnysa will exhibit separately.
