French marketer Prince de Bretagne is currently highlighting the availability of its Petit Violet artichokes, of which it plans to deliver 8,000-10,000 boxes each day during peak season.
A key part of the company's strategy this campaign is to improve communication with consumers, offering them cooking tips and other suggestions on the Prince de Bretagne website.
'Petit Violet artichokes are chosen by an increasing number of consumers but sometimes still raise questions from shoppers,' the company informed its retail clients. 'Don't hesitate to suggest your clients visit the Prince de Bretagne website, where they can find recipes and videos showing how to prepare them.'
During the summer, the marketer also offers large Camus and Castel artichokes, in both conventional and organic. 'Don't forget to remind your customers that large artichokes can be cooked in the microwave,' the company advised retailers.
