Pink Lady Europe has called on a hundred fashion, design and graphic design schools in Europe to develop the new Pink Lady apple shopping bag.
The Pink Lady Design Contest was launched on 18 April and will allow the public to vote online for their favourite design, with a panel of judges announcing the eventual winner on 15 July.
The winning designer will apparently pick up a prize of €2,500, as well as having their design printed on 1m shopping bags distributed throughout Pink Lady’s European markets.
Participants have been given four themes that Pink Lady believes represent the intrinsic values of its apples: the natural world, delicious food, glamour and free interpretation.
