Paolo Bruni

Italy's leading fresh produce research and marketing organisation, CentroServizi Ortofrutticoli (CSO), has re-elected Paolo Bruni as president for a fourth term, a position he will now hold until 2013.

The CSO member Assembly voted for Renzo Piraccini to take a fourth term as managing director, with Carlo Manzo of Ortofruit Italia and Cesare Belló of Opoveneto elected as vice-presidents.

'The CSO is a reality that has shown in recent years to have the strategic and technical characteristics to play a key role in the support of member companies,' said Mr Bruni. 'It is highly market-oriented, capable of responding quickly to the demand for knowledge and the need for the aggregation of operating enterprises, whether cooperative or private.'
