Organic Fortnight, organised by UK-based the Soil Association, is due to take place this year on 3-17 September to celebrate all things organic.
The aim is to persuade consumers to switch to organics during the fortnight in order to discover 'why there are no hidden costs – organic means better for you and our soil, happy animals, flourishing wildlife and a healthier planet', according to the Soil Association.
The highlight of the fortnight, the Organic Food Festival, will take place on 11-12 September at Bristol Harbourside, with hundreds of stalls selling organic food and drink.
