Nunhems Brazil has celebrated a significant milestone this month, having now been operating in the country for 10 years.
Nunhems do Brasil Comercio de Sementes Ltda, the Brazilian arm of Bayer CropScience's vegetable seed business, was first established in 2001, before first selling melon seeds in 2003.
Since then, the company has expanded to offer onion, tomato, watermelon and carrot seeds, with sales 'growing continuously', according to Nunhems, while the group moved into a new office in Campinas in October 2010.
To celebrate the 10-year mark, Nunhems held a special gala dinner for employees, customers and business partners in Campinas, with more than 200 people in attendance.
