Kronen welcomed some 240 visitors from 45 countries to a special anniversary gala evening, exhibition and awards ceremony at its Kehl-based headquarters on 28 September, as it celebrated its 40th anniversary.
The company, which develops, manufactures and supplies machinery for the food industry, held the event in conjunction with its Customer Day, which takes place every two years.
At its in-house exhibition, Kronen presented a number of its newest innovations and solutions, including newly launched drying systems K650 and BDS 300/800, a new version of its spin-dryer KS-100 Plus, its UVC Disinfection lock, and its Internet of Things concept.
In addition to the demonstrations, international experts held short lectures on future-oriented topics fo the fresh-cut sector in the new Kronen Forums, while insights into the company were offered during special facility visits.
The 40th anniversary was marked by a gala dinner, during which awards were handed out to a number of Kronen partners including Toepfer, Mushkat Technologies, Seda-Freund and DanMix.
'We are glad about the record participation and that the event was very successful,' said Stephan Zillgith, managing director at Kronen. 'It is a great chance to introduce our newest solutions, such as some new IT-ready Smart machines, and to show to our customers and partners how we work directly on-site.
'For the anniversary we made special efforts inviting to the gala dinner and the professional forum,' he continued. 'Eventually, our goal was to thank our customers and partners for the fruitful and long-term partnerships, which made 40 years of Kronen happen. As a family business this is especially important to us.'
