Argentinean topfruit supplier Kleppe has won a national award in recognition of its efforts within the country's fresh produce industry.
The ninth edition of Argentina’s Agricultural Excellence Awards was organised by national newspaper La Nación and Banco Galicia, one of the major private banks in Argentina.
The awards, spanning 15 categories, recognise the innovation, excellence, commitment and hard work carried out by men and women in Argentina’s agriculture industry, according to a report by La Nación.
Kleppe won the gong for the best fruit producer following a selection process by a jury composed by Fernando Vilella from School of Agronomy of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), Gustavo Oliver of the Foundation Produce and Conserve, and Rodrigo Bunge, a consultant.
