Kingston & Associates Marketing has announced in a press release the expansion of its Ecuadorean mango imports in response to high customer demand and holiday promotions.
“Kingston is excited to increase the arrival schedule for our Ecuadorean mangoes,” explained the company’s marketing president Ken Nabal, in the release.
“Our grower partners have responded to the increased demand in the US and our strong sales with more volumes for shipping between Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.”
Nabal said the peak sizes will be around counts 10 and 12, which he claimed are the most favourable sizes for retail promotions.
With its steady volume increases over the past year, Kingston has also made the decision to roll out its new mango label.
“For the past 38 years Dave Kingston built a brand based on a relentless commitment to quality, consistent and dependable customer service and importance of food safety and security (along the procurement chain),” Nabal noted.
“Our customers, with good reason, have great confidence in the Kingston label, making it a logical decision to expand our Kingston branding into our mango imports.”
The Kingston logo is prominently displayed along with its “Planting to Plate” tag line which emphasises the company’s relentless commitment to food safety and focus on vertical integration amongst its various companies.
