This autumn in Japan Mexican avocados will feature in a widespread promotional campaign, covering millions of consumers via media outlets, the internet and point of sale material.
Mexico’s avocado exporters’ association, APEAM, is behind the campaign, part of a wider avocado marketing push from the country.
The campaign will include an online recipe contest, viral marketing over online social networking sites, retail display contests and in-store sampling.
Two marketing presentations will take place in Tokyo and Osaka on 8 and 10 September respectively.
