At the general assembly of French interprofessional organisation Interfel, which took place on 28 April, president Gilles Vignaud reiterated the need for a global strategy, not just with regard to experimentation and research, but to all areas of the sector, including the technical aspect.
“Our global strategy is based on two pillars,” said Mr Vignaud. “The first is economic, the second technical. Investment in experimentation and research must define this interprofessional strategy.”
Interfel’s members made this strategy known to the French minister of agriculture and fisheries, Michel Barnier, in a letter sent on 28 April.
