Bruno Dupont

French interprofessional organisation Interfel has announced its intention to focus on the long-term structural challenges of the sector.

Towards this goal, the organisation has appointed Bruno Dupont, president of the FNPF, France’s national federation of fruit producers, to the post of general secretary.

Mr Dupont will be responsible for the interprofession’s activities in the field, working closely with businesses in the sector.

Mr Dupont said that a project to bring value back to fresh produce must be undertaken on the basis of strategic programmes drawn up product by product.
