Recently-formed Spanish fresh produce association Ibérica Hortofrutícola has launched a new corporate image, including a new logo, for all its functions and promotions.
In a statement, association president Juan de Dios Hernández Navarro said the new image, created in conjunction with public relations agency Comimaginación, would present a “modern and competitive” identity for Ibérica Hortofrutícola.
Mr Hernández said the new image had been created “with the aim of filling a space that had remained obsolete”.
Ibérica Hortofrutícola was launched on 22 October 2008 by 30 leading fruit and vegetable producers from the southern Spanish provinces of Murcia and Alicante.
At the time of its launch, Mr Hernández said the association had been created with the multiple aims of driving fruit and vegetable consumption, providing added value to fresh produce companies and defending the strategic role that the sector plays within Spain’s national economy.
