Having spent nearly 15 years in the French fruit and vegetable sector, including 11 in marketing at interprofessional organisation Interfel, Xavier Herry has joined France's ministry of agriculture and food, according to Végétable.
Herry has taken charge of public relations and partnerships, with the aim of developing contacts with professional and interprofessional organisations.
His mission is reportedly to enliven this network and to create combined actions and events to promote the food sector.
