In response to growing demand for luxury packaged exotic products, Hagé International has revealed that it is now offering the Solentes mix after first unveiling it at Fruit Logistica in Berlin.
The Greenery subsidiary's mix includes a combination of exotic and special varieties, packaged in a small basket, with three types available including standard exotic varieties such as mangoes and papayas, exotics for garnishing purposes such as carambolas and pomegranates, and a mix of luxury potato varieties.
According to Hagé International, the exotics and specialties department is constantly expanding its basic range of exotic products.
'Our collaboration with carefully selected growers from different countries enables us to satisfy a growing customer demand for high-quality products,' said Corrie Visbeen, product manager of the exotics and specialties department. 'Together with our suppliers we focus on quality, flavour and food safety – and being able to guarantee the continuity of these elements.'
