Vegetable seed operation Nunhems is aiming to help growers triumph in unpredictable and challenging winter months by offering two new lettuce varieties, Brian and Stuart.

Brian and Stuart are glasshouse butterhead varieties with a medium/large frame size, each boasting a strong and tidy base and a dark green colour.

'Brian is the one constant through changing and challenging winters for nearly a decade,' said Matthew Beevers, crops sales manager for lettuce. 'A reliable benchmark you can depend on whatever the conditions.
