The recent Bloom 2017 event, which showcased the best of Irish horticulture in Dublin, saw Total Produce promote the Grá brand to the masses and provide a platform for some of the country's most accomplished growers to promote the fruits of their labour.
Throughout the five day event, running from 1-5 June, visitors were invited to sample and purchase a selection of Grá branded Irish berries, tomatoes and herbs while many of the estimated 180,000 visitors availed of the opportunity to meet some of Grá’s select group of local growers.
Reflecting on the event, Vincent Dolan, Total Produce marketing director commented: “In Total Produce we are deeply committed to promoting local growers and local produce. Bloom is always a hugely enjoyable event, providing an opportunity to bring together Irish growers and Irish consumers in a friendly, fun environment. We were overwhelmed by the positive reception the Grá brand received from visitors while for our Grá growers, Bloom provided a timely reminder of the importance Irish consumers attach to the work that they do.”
