Fresón de Palos has scooped the top prize for best brand development and best integrated advertising campaign at the International Festival of Food Advertising and Health.
The Huelva-based berry giant beat more than 400 entrants to win the award, which was judged by a jury chaired by Marcos de Quinto, former vice president and global marketing director of Coca-Cola. Previous winners include Nocilla, Prizer and Betadine.
The company teamed up with the National Basketball Association for its 2018/19 “Do sport. Eat fruit.” Campaign, which featured a series of basketball-themed activities across several channels to promote healthy eating habits and lifestyle choices.
Company president Emilio Vázquez, director Rafael Garrido and marketing director Jaime Zaforas picked up the award at a ceremony held at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid last week.
During the ceremony, they thanked the organisation and the jury, and above all “the great family of partners and employees that form Fresón de Palos”.
