Chiquita has launched a national advertising drive for its Fresh Express salad subsidiary, promoting not only the freshness and flavour of its offering, but also the use of its food safety technology, Fresh Rinse.
The fresh produce giant revealed that the media drive in the US would incorporate television, print and internet advertisements, with the tagline 'consistently, deliciously fresh' helping to demonstrate the roll-out of the group's Chlorine wash alternative.
All seven of Chiquita's Fresh express salad manufacturing plants have now adopted the technology, Mike Burness, vice-president of global quality and food safety at Chiquita, told The Packer.
A Fresh Rinse logo is being added to all Fresh Express salad packaging.
