French trade body Interfel is organising a series of events this month as part of its Festival of Fruit and Vegetables to boost consumption of fresh produce.
Ten major cities across the country will host treasure hunts, while over 30,000 French villages are running picnics – a new addition to this year’s campaign chosen for their atmosphere of sharing and conviviality.
Designed to redefine the public’s attitude to eating fruit and vegetables, the campaign will be promoted on social media under the hashtag #FraîchAttitude (fresh attitude), alongside trade and consumer advertising and branding.
La Fête des fruits et légumes frais will run from 10 to 19 June.
