Next week sees the return of 'Balanced Diet Week' in France, a campaign whose aim is to inform students about the principles of a balanced diet and to encourage them to follow one, according to a report in News Santé.
The campaign is organised by the USEM (national union of regional student societies), which conducted a study last year into French students' dietary habits.
The inquiry found that although 60 per cent of students judged their diet as balanced, a fifth of students ate only two meals a day, while 14 per cent consumed no fruit or vegetables.
