A day of action against food waste has been scheduled for 25 August in Munich to launch the Good Food March in Germany.
Theinitiative will travel throughout Europe and will bring together producers as well as consumers to call for a sustainable and equitable Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
'Teller Statt Tonne' (Plate Not Waste) is being organised by a host of non-governmental organisations inGermany and beyond, and aims to raise awareness of increasing levels ofwaste in the food production system.
The march will end in Brussels on 19 September.
