Dutch organic supplier Eosta has reported that for this season it is able to supply organic South African grapes for all segments of the market.
According to the company, the first containers arrived just recently, with white seedless grapes packed in lidless punnets due to arrive next week.
Eosta’s Peter Abma commented: “We have been carefully listening to the market and have noticed that our customers actually all want something different to distinguish themselves from the rest. An attractive, one-of-a-kind look and feel plays an important role in this.”
The company’s ‘Nature & More’ grape range now consists of white and red grapes (separate and mixed) in 400g biodegradable punnets; white and red grapes in special 300g biodegradable trays; and white grapes in shakers for the ’Bio-Kicks’ and ‘Bio-Kids’ segments.
Supplies from South Africa will last until mid-April, after which Eosta ‘Nature & More’ growers from Chile will take over.
