Edeka has confirmed to Lebensmittel Zeitung that it is looking outside of the German border for future investment and acquisition opportunities
The grocery retailer is said to be one of the bidders for Dutch independent chain C1000, Planet Retail said, for which owner CVC is reportedly asking €1bn.
