Jeroen Rooders Fruitmasters

Members of the Netherlands fresh produce trade have been nominated for this year's Fresh Marketeer award, which is presented each year to the most successful and innovative marketing executive within the Dutch food industry.

Jeroen Rooders of fresh fruit company Fruitmasters was named among the ten nominees for his work in developing marketing strategies such as Disney Fun Fruit, a range of fruit introduced to the Dutch market in 2007.

Also nominated was Willem Treep, director and owner of Willem en Drees, who together with his colleagues developed the traditional fruit label Willem en Drees and introduced it to a number of supermarkets.

The winner of Fresh Marketer 2010 award will be announced at the upcoming VersEvent (FreshEvent), which takes place on 19 May 2010 in De Lier.
