Dole Food Company has launched the next stage of its Go Bananas campaign.
To coincide with the start of 2012, the banana producer-marketer has unveiled Go Bananas Every Day, which offers US consumers one different way to enjoy a banana for every day of the new year.
The suggestion for today, 5 January, is: "Polish your leather shoes with a banana peel."
The initiative will be supported by multimedia and in-store promotional campaigns.
