Chiquita Brands International has agreed an exclusive new deal with Walt Disney Co. to supply a range of its products to Disney theme parks, resorts and cruise ships, according to a report by The Packer.

Announcing the deal during the company's AGM at the end of May, Chiquita CEO Fernando Aguirre said that the move was designed to extend its reach while promoting its Improve World Nutrition campaign.

The move is the latest by Chiquita to enhance the visibility of its products, having already introduced products to the likes of McDonald's, Starbucks, AMC Theatres, airports and a range of convenience stores.

'We've just signed a multi-year agreement that provides a terrific branding opportunity for Chiquita and Fresh Express products within Walt Disney World's parks, resorts and cruise line in Florida, which reach more than 50m guests per year' Aguirre told stockholders at the meeting.
