Californian producer-marketer Naturipe Farms is to release new packaging featuring Disney Princess characters and a themed eBook including recipes and activities for young consumers this spring.
Naturipe has announced that it will introduce 1lb clamshells of strawberries featuring well-known Disney Princess characters on-pack. Included on the label is an offer for a free Disney Princess recipe book, which is downloadable through a quick response (QR) code on pack or at the company’s social media outlets and website.
“We are very excited to introduce this new Disney Princess packaging,” commented Robert Verloop, executive vice-president of marketing at Naturipe Farms. “The downloadable recipe book offering is an added value for consumers and is sure to be a great way to engage kids of all ages in healthy eating.”
The recipe book includes eight recipes such as Sweetheart Strawberry Hummus and Enchanting Strawberry Tostada. Also included in the eBook are activities featuring Disney Princess characters. Activities include the Cinderella Garden Maze and Belle Story Puzzle.
The Disney Princess-themed eBook will be available through on-pack QR codes, via the website and also will be featured through Naturipe social media channels.
