Italian fresh convenience company La Linea Verde has rolled out a new joint marketing project for its market-leading brand DimmidiSì in collaboration with olive oil supplier Bonomelli, which markets products under the Olio Cuore trademark.
Over the next three months, the two companies will offer special, co-branded salad packs bearing the name DimmidiSì Sorpresa d'Insalata (DimmidiSì Salad Surprise).
Each pack will contain a premium-quality salad in a brightly coloured, reusable plastic bowl, plus a 15ml sample sachet of Olio Cuore olive oil.
According to La Linea Verde, the promotional devices are aimed at boosting sales of the salad packs while also reinforcing the reputation of the oil company's product range.
'There are therefore two gifts for the consumer,' said a spokesperson for the group.
Until the end of August, the promotion will focus on a salad mix containing curly and sugarloaf chicory, red radicchio, carrots, sweetcorn, cherry tomatoes and black olives.
A second salad mix, due to be in stores for the month of September, will contain curly and sugarloaf chicory, red radicchio, carrots, white cabbage, cherry tomatoes and green and black olives.
