The Rubens International Project has announced the official entrance of Delta Agrar Group as a Northern Hemisphere distributor for the apple in Serbia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Montenegro and Macedonia.
Delata Agrar joins fellow licensees from Austria (Efko and Stift Schotten), Germany (Elbe Obst), Italy (Vog Terlan), Switzerland (Iseppi) and UK (Avalon Produce Ltd), working together to enhance the Rubens apple brand across the main International markets.
According to the forecast laid out by CIV (Consorzio Italiano Vivaisti), the project aims to reach around 300ha of Northern Hemisphere production area over the next few years, with overall global volumes of about 10,000 tonnes – thus achieving a favourable balance between Rubens supply and demand.
“We intend to fully support the development of Rubens International Project of the highest quality to satisfy every player in the supply chain, from the producer to the end user at international level,' said Pier Filippo Tagliani, chairman of CIV.
