Launched at Fruit Attraction, the campaign highlights the variety’s organoleptic qualities

CVVP, the non-profit organisation providing services covering the management, promotion, defence and development of protected plant varieties, has launched a new campaign for its Leanri mandarin.

Under the slogan ‘Leanri, how great you are’, the campaign highlights the variety’s size, flavour, shelf-life and profitability.

It will be supported a range of activities, including field days to share best growing practices, social media activities, testimonials from farmers, and newsletters with advice on how to grow and manage the variety.

The campaign was launched at last week’s Fruit Attraction trade fair in Madrid. “The fair proved to be the ideal setting to present Leanri in all its splendour, highlighting its excellent flavour and performance,” CVVP said. “These three days allowed us to consolidate its position as one of the most outstanding varieties in the sector, thanks to its incomparable quality.”
