Crunch Pak has announced that it will have a major presence at the Super Bowl on Sunday 2 February, with the group's apple slices available to those performing during the traditional half-time show.
Super Bowl XLVIII will be contested between the Seattle Seahwaks and the Denver Broncos at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey this weekend.
Confirmed performers for this year's half-time show – and those, therefore, set to enjoy Crunch Pak's sliced apples – include singer Bruno Mars and legendary rock group Red Hot Chili Peppers.
“This is an extension of what we do in Hollywood at the award shows,” said Tony Freytag, Crunch Pak's senior vice-president of sales and marketing. “The same company that produces the Academy Awards and the People’s Choice Awards is producing the half-time show and they asked us to supply fresh product backstage for Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.”
Crunch Pak is often served backstage as a healthy snack at award shows, including the recent Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
