Italian marketing cooperative Conserve Italia has unveiled a new limited edition, football-themed fruit juice which it plans to sell in the run-up to this year's football World Cup, which takes place this summer in South Africa.
The pineapple and starfruit drink forms part of the company's Derby Blue range, which is aimed at young consumers and which already includes pear and lemon, peach and orange, and apricot and mango mixes.
Adorned with the colours of the Italian flag, the new bottle features a football-playing pineapple and star fruit on the front, as well as the words 'Fruit supports Italy'.
The drink is due to be on sale throughout Italy for the months of March, April, May and June.
Alongside individually sold bottles, consumers will also be able to purchase two-packs containing a free Italian flag.
