French group Compagnie Fruitière is set to launch a new promotional campaign, dubbed Fruits d’Afrique, in retail outlets across France.
The campaign will be in place from 2 May until 11 June, according to the company, through its Dole France and Exofarm subsidiaries, and aims to highlight the quality of its African-grown produce.
The promotion will include an online competition, giving visitors the chance to win various prizes, including a safari in Tanzania and reflex cameras.
The company’s packaging and in-store publicity will feature a flashcode linking to the www.fruitsdafrique.fr site, where visitors will be able to view a video of Compagnie Fruitière’s banana and pineapple plantations in Cameroon, Ghana, Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire.
The offer will reportedly be made available for the entire range of Dole France and Exofarm’s products, including not just SCB bananas and Ana'dou pineapples, but also oranges, grapefruits, avocados and limes.
