Spanish retailer El Corte Inglés was the backdrop for the launch of the Chilean fruit industry’s 2018/19 European marketing campaign last week.
An opening ceremony took place at the group’s Castellana store in Madrid on Friday, attended by representatives of fresh fruit association Asoex, the Chilean Embassy in Spain, executives of El Corte Inglés and importer Frutas E. Sánchez.
Cherries and peaches were the featured products at the inaugural promotion in the new campaign, which will run in more than 30 El Corte Inglés stores throughout Spain, and feature activities including animations with promoter, tastings and the distribution of leaflets.
