Chep, a leading provider of managed pallet pooling solutions, has announced a new contract for shipping platform solutions in the US with Del Monte Fresh Produce.
Del Monte Fresh Produce transports branded bananas, melons and pineapples to supermarket chains, club stores, foodservice distributors and wholesalers across North America on Chep pallets, which have been the preferred shipping platform for Del Monte Fresh Produce in North America since 2006.
Del Monte favours Chep's pallets because they aligns with customer requirements, eliminate most product damage and rejections, and meet the company’s environmental sustainability objectives.
