Bramley apple campaign

The Bramley apple campaign is gearing up for one of the highlights of the year, with Bramley Apple Week, which takes place on 7-14 February 2010, expected to generate widespread coverage in the press, on the radio and on television.

This year's Bramley Week focuses on versatility and innovation, with a series of recipes appearing in popular magazines including Chat, Cook Vegetarian, Sainsbury's Magazine, Woman and Women's Weekly in February. Additionally, the campaign has teamed with BBC Magazine to produce a special insert in the popular Easy Cook magazine.

Meanwhile, the Bramley website - www.bramleyapples.co.uk - has been redesigned and updated in time for Bramley Apple Week, boasting new recipes and an improved search function. Around 3,000 visitors log on to the site each month, according to campaign figures.

'Bramley Apple Week is a really important time for us and we are building on the momentum of last year's bicentenary to make a real impact,' said Bramley campaign chairman Adrian Barlow. 'The combination of the BBC Easy Cook insert, the recipe coverage and the increasingly important online activity will ensure that Bramleys will be hard to miss.'
