California Giant has announced in a news statement the launch of its redesigned website, which features a completely new format for consumers, trade partners and cycling fans to better serve each audience with targeted information.
The consumer site features new two-minute chef-hosted videos (of which several featuring chef Julia Myall have just been published) for each of the four berry varieties grown by California Giant to provide key tips on selection from the produce department, storage recommendations as well as fun and easy recipes prepared on camera.
Consumers will also benefit from enhanced recipe pages with the opportunity to provide feedback and submit recipes, and information regarding sustainability, seasonality, nutrition and tips on how to achieve a healthy and fit lifestyle for the whole family.
Trade partner pages focus on business tools to help build sales and customer loyalty, of which most will be password protected and available for downloaded for use at corporate and store level.
A regular crop update will also be added to the trade site with information provided by the field department including photos taken from the field.
The cycling pages feature the team, national champion acknowledgement, race results and events that feature team members promoting the company’s products.
A new section for all audiences provides information on the company’s giving-back programme which is focused on helping the community and national organisations like the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association.
