Company’s Piel de Sapo scoops ninth consecutive taste award while Sweetheart melon recognised for third time

Bollo’s Piel de Sapo melon has been presented with the Sabor del Año (Taste of the Year) 2025 award for the ninth consecutive year, becoming one of the Spanish brands to receive the accolade the most times.

Another of the company’s melons, Sweetheart, has scooped the award for the third time this year.

Sabor del Año the only award where products are evaluated by consumers in an objective manner. Blind tastings are carried out by a laboratory specialising in sensory analysis to guarantee impartial evaluations, and only products that achieve the highest score in their category receive the award.

Bollo said its melons are the result of production with a vocation for excellence combined with rigorous selection and control of the entire farm and value chain, from the beginning of cultivation to final packaging, offering the best varieties on the market.
