Spain’s largest fresh produce marketing organisation, Anecoop, is set to mark a double anniversary at this year’s Fruit Logistica exhibition in Berlin, Germany, with the event coinciding with its foundation and the launch of one of its most famous brands.
The Valencia-based group will use the occasion to not only present new products and initiatives, but also to highlight the fact that 2011 is the 35th anniversary of Anecoop’s establishment, during which time it has become a leader in Spain’s fresh produce sector.
This year will also mark the 20th anniversary of the company’s major brand for seedless watermelons, a trade name that has since been expanded to cover a range of categories, Anecoop said in a statement.
Anecoop will be present at the three-day trade fair, which runs from 9-11 February, at its stand in hall 11.2, which will include representatives from its range of subsidiaries, covering France, Poland, the Czech Republic, Russia, the UK and the Netherlands.
