A new marketing campaign has been launched in Italy with the aim of improving consumer habits and encouraging them to buy more natural products and adopt healthier lifestyles.
The project, entitled Imparare a vlersi bene (Learn to take care of yourself), is being promoted by leading organic fresh produce marketer Almaverde Bio in partnership with local health body Ausl, based in Cesena, Emilia-Romagna.
At the beginning of March, the campaign will see 20 adults classed as seriously overweight begin a 13-part course to learn more about healthy eating and lifestyles.
The meetings will be conducted by a medical nutritionist, a sports doctor, a psychologist, a physical educate graduate and a chef, the latter offering tips on how to prepare healthy recipes.
