The Argentinean Blueberry Committee (ABC) is intensifying its 2017 promotional campaign as the campaign moves into peak production.
A key focus of this year’s campaign has been the local market and after celebrating Blueberry Week earlier this month, the committee is holding a series of events to boost domestic consumption.
These include participation in the Ministry of Agriculture’s ‘Night of the Museums’ and ‘More Fruits and Vegetables’ programmes featuring tastings, games and activities for children and adolescents.
The ABC will also take part in the LAC Flavours and Aliment.Ar Latin American food exhibition, which takes place in Buenos Aires on 8-10 November, as well as in Masticar, a popular gourmet event that takes place in November.
Promotional activities will take place across the country, especially in the main production zones such as Tucumán, Entre Ríos and Corrientes.
“Our goal is to reach the whole country with our campaign. That is why the committee is working jointly with the regional institutions in order to make this fruit available for more Argentine consumers,” said Jorge Pazos, leader of the ABC´s domestic market commission.
Meanwhile, the ABC continued with the roll out of its Taste the Difference campaign at this month’s PMA Fresh Summit in New Orleans and Fruit Attraction in Madrid.
