Refreshed apple brand hits the streets of Hong Kong for the first time with flavourful tasting experience
The Soluna apple brand has captured the attention of consumers in Hong Kong with a fresh marketing campaign in September.
The refreshed apple brand – previously known as Bravo – first came to the market’s attention through July and August via a special gift box available online through television broadcaster TVB.
WA Farm Direct – which manages the marketing of Australia-grown Soluna together with Australian licence holder Fruit West – partnered with Top Weal in Hong Kong to launch the phase of the marketing plan on 9 September.
The brand hit the streets of Hong Kong with a launch event that saw a Soluna apple truck hosting tastings and giveaways. The truck moved throughout Hong Kong across the four days giving consumers a chance to experience the apple and visitors were encouraged to post to social media about the event in exchange for a free piece of fruit.
In addition to the launch event, WA Farm Direct team is working with Top Weal to ensure Soluna is available at a range of retailers across the city including Aeon, Yata, Sogo, Fresh, Uny, ParkNShop, Wellcome (coming soon) ans Zstore (online platform). This will be supported by an exciting digital marketing campaign and in-store sampling.
