Hong Kong’s growing appetite for Japanese goods has opened the window for organic grocery delivery company Radish Boya to offers its goods in Hong Kong.
The Tokyo-based company has partnered with Hong Kong Television Network (HKTV) to sell 12 fruit and vegetables online on the HKTVmall site, with shipping to be handled by HKTV.
On offer will be Japanese goods including cabbage, tomatoes, pears and persimmons, as well as mixed fruit and vegetable boxes shipped selling for around 150 per cent higher than its in Japan, with Radish Boya eyeing export sales of ¥300m annually, according to Nikkei.
Radish Boya was established in 1988, and now supplies more than 120,000 households in Japan.
