Sun World International, Paramount Citrus Association and Sierra Kiwi have earned the 'Quality by Purfresh' seal for their efforts to ensure the freshness, quality and safety of their products while reducing their chemical footprints.
Sun World recently introduced extra Purfresh cold-storage systems to its processes and Mark Holder, its director of facilities and operations, said: 'We're honoured to be recognised.'
Purfresh president and CEO David Cope advised: 'The Quality by Purfresh programme is designed to promote best practices in the fresh produce industry by communicating superior quality and safety standards to grocers and its customers.'
Purfresh, a supplier of various clean technologies to the global food supply chain, has more than 1,500 customers in 50 countries.
