Opening session sees Reliance Retail’s Saurabh Raina and WayCool Foods’ Karthik Jayaraman discuss future of fast-developing Indian market
Fresh Produce India 2023 commenced proceedings on Wednesday 3 May with a live digital audience taking in the first session, India’s future in focus.
Fruitnet’s managing director Chris White was joined by Saurabh Raina from leading Indian retail Reliance Retail and Karthik Jayaraman from top food distribution platform WayCool Foods.
Together they discussed the huge potential of one of the world’s most exciting fresh produce markets. They explored the challenges and opportunities faced by the domestic and international trades in their efforts to cultivate growth and touched on topics such as retail, marketing, premium products, supply chains and technology.
