New Zealand-based produce marketer Enza has taken the cover of its new kiwifruit branding scheme to coincide with the Fruit Logistica trade show in Berlin this week.
Enza’s new ‘Taste Explosion’ branding will start hitting markets next month, and will incorporate the existing ENZAGreen, ENZARed and ENZAGold kiwifruit labels.
Jeff Wesley, managing director of parent company Turners & Growers (T&G), said Enza’s kiwifruit business is growing globally, particularly in Asia.
“This new look for Enza kiwifruit is all about building consumer preference in the market,” Wesley stated. “It’s a premium look for premium varieties and reflects our position as an exciting global kiwifruit brand.”
T&G and its subsidiaries have kiwifruit production in a number of countries in both hemispheres, but notably no exports of the fruit are sourced from its home country of New Zealand, where it has failed to agree on a collaborative marketing arrangement with single-desk kiwifruit marketer Zespri.
